The Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra develops, educates, and promotes young musicians.
RDYO is proud to offer 7 orchestral divisions comprised of Strings, Winds, Chamber and Symphony.
For over 50 years, RDYO is grateful for receiving unwavering support from the community as a non-profit organization.
With a focus on children and youth, RDYO fosters development, knowledge, appreciation and the pursuit of excellence in the field of ensemble/orchestral music. More broadly, RDYO strives to benefit young people by establishing the basis for a positive lifelong relationship with music, offering enjoyable and enriching experiences through socialization and accomplishment, and extending the reach of musical education equitably. RDYO also seeks to benefit the community at large, providing entertainment value and exposure to high quality musical experiences, encouraging involvement in and support of ensemble music-making, and bolstering local communities through representation.
RDYO is a registered Canadian Charity that relies on community and government support. Explore our links below to find out more about how you can donate, and the impact it makes.

RDYO is like a family. I have had such a good time creating music with friends. I enjoy creating music with them and performing in concerts. It is such an incredible experience and one that I will always remember.
Over the past seven years I have been able to grow as a musician along with a community of talented and like-minded individuals. I have learned so much throughout my time in RDYO, and I am so grateful to all of the staff for sharing their valuable knowledge and time with us.
